The public is invited to attend a transit planning meeting from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Laguna Beach Community Center.
The city and IBI Group, a global architecture, engineering and planning firm have developed options for improving local transportation services, a city news release said.
IBI analyzed the city’s mainline daily bus service, the summer trolley service, taxi services, and Sally’s Fund — a specialized service for seniors and disabled people.
Based on the analysis and community input, a number of options to best meet the mobility needs of residents and visitors have been developed and will be discussed at this drop-in event.
Input from stakeholders and customers is needed to determine a preferred approach for transit service improvements.
The community center, also referred to as the Susi Q Senior Center, is at 380 Third. St.
