COSTA MESA — Police continued the search Tuesday for a bank robber.
A man walked into a Chase bank in the 1400 block of Baker Street about 1:15 p.m. Monday and slipped a teller a note demanding cash and threatening to brandish a gun, said Costa Mesa police Sgt. Phil Myers.
The man took off with $700 without revealing his gun. No one was injured in the incident, Myers said.
Police described the man as white, with a bandage over his nose, 160 pounds, between 26 and 27 years old, and 5 feet 10 inches tall.
