‘Magic Tree House’ in San Diego

If you know about Jack and Annie and their magical tree house that transports them to different moments in world history, there’s a can’t-miss event happening Thursday.

Kids ages 7 and up are invited to a free reading at Yellow Book Road in Point Loma’s Liberty Station.

The “Passport to Adventure! A Magic Tree House Live Reading Tour,” which is put on by Random House, features professional actors performing as adventurous siblings, Jack and Annie. The 30-minute show has an original script as well as music and dancing created specifically for this live reading.

Children are allowed to bring a book from home to have stamped. They’ll also be able to meet and greet with Jack and Annie, take photos and take home a souvenir.
