“A Life Ascending,” a documentary chronicling the life of mountain guide Ruedi Beglinger, who lives with his wife and young daughters on a remote glacier in the Selkirk Mountains of British Columbia, Canada.

TRAVEL SHOW
The 14th annual Los Angeles Times Travel Show, with headliners Lisa Ling, Arthur Frommer, Rick Steves, Johnny Jet, Adam Richman, as well as cooking demonstrations and all-new areas focused on family and active vacations, cruises, and luxury and leisure travel. The Times Pavilion will showcase its award-winning travel writers and photographers.
