Lavell Crawford goes from ‘Breaking Bad’ bodyguard to comedian
Reporting from Las Vegas — Comedian and actor Lavell Crawford brings his standup comedy show to the Suncoast Showroom on Nov. 7 and 8.
Crawford played Saul Goodman’s bodyguard, Huell Babineaux, in AMC’s “Breaking Bad.†He also starred on episodes of FX’s “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia†and Comedy Central’s “Tosh.0†and “Workaholics.â€
Crawford, a regular panelist on “Chelsea Lately,†also works as a special correspondent and panelist on “The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore.â€
Crawford first made his mark as a comedian when he was a finalist for NBC’s 2007 season of “Last Comic Standing.â€
After his 2008 appearance on Comedy Central, he landed his own one-hour special, “Lavell Crawford: Can a Brother Get Some Love?â€
Last summer, Crawford shared the big screen with Kristen Stewart, Jesse Eisenberg and Topher Grace as Big Harold in the action-comedy “American Ultra.â€
