Reporting from Las Vegas — Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson takes on John “The Magician” Dodson for the Ultimate Fighting Championship flyweight championship belt on Saturday, Sept. 5, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, and that means UFC events are on the agenda for Labor Day weekend.
While more events are surely on the way, the MGM Grand announced on Tuesday that comedian and UFC commentator Joe Rogan returns to “KÀ” Theater at the resort on Friday, Sept. 4, to warm up the fight crowds.
Rogan, former host of “Fear Factor” and “NewsRadio” star, released his fourth hour-long comedy special “Joe Rogan: Rocky Mountain High.” It debuted on Comedy Central last November.
Since 2002, Rogan has provided commentary for the UFC.
Currently, he hosts “The Joe Rogan Experience,” a podcast featuring guests from comedy, science, social activism and mixed martial arts.
Tickets start at $29.99 and go on sale on Thursday, July 30.
Tickets: Ticketmaster, (866) 740-7711
