Rob Gronkowski’s party boy status grows in Las Vegas

Reporting from Las Vegas — Do a Google search for Rob Gronkowski and party, and dozens of sites pop up listing his escapades. The New England Patriots tight end busted out his dance moves with rapper Flo Rida after winning the Super Bowl. He has a party bus.
Now he can add Surrender Nightclub at Encore Las Vegas to his legend. He spent Saturday night partying at the nightclub with his brothers Chris and Dan as well as four friends.
Yes, there were confetti cannons erupting when he entered the club. Yes, there was cake, two in fact. One was shaped like a Lombardi Trophy and the other a large football.
The club got just what it wanted, that Gronk moment. As the crowd cheered for a “Gronk Spike,” he smashed the football cake on his brother Chris’ head.
He also drank his Champagne straight from the bottle and sprayed the crowd with bubbly.
His dinner earlier at Andrea’s at Encore was decidedly quieter with no reported incidents.
