Las Vegas reinvents the casino with nightlife paired with gaming at Lavo

Reporting from Las Vegas — Lavo has something new up its sleeve. Meet the new Lavo Casino Club, bringing together gaming, bottle service, cocktails and Lavo’s Italian dishes at the Palazzo.
“Now you have a place where you can gamble with your friends before a big night out at one of our nightclubs,” Tao Group partner Jason Strauss said in a statement. “Couples can enjoy cocktails and some gaming after dinner downstairs at Lavo, or the casino guest who likes a more exclusive experience can receive Tao Group’s hallmark VIP treatment while playing.”
When it opens in mid-September, guests can order cocktails, delivered via a butler’s cart, as well as food. All around the space, flat-screen TVs will show sporting events. Initially, only blackjack tables decorate the space, but expect roulette and more down the road.
Groups, such as bachelor parties and other social groups, can reserve a gaming table.
The space plans to be open Fridays and Saturdays starting at 8 p.m., and during football season, starting at 11 a.m. on Saturdays and 9 a.m. on Sundays.
