Reporting from Las Vegas — With Dinah Vegas, dubbed the “ultimate festival for lesbians,” in Las Vegas over the weekend, the Venetian opted to bring in some girls’ weekend talent to tickle their funny bones.
Comedians Fortune Feimster and Cameron Esposito perform in “Lipshtick — The Perfect Shade of Standup” at the resort on Saturday, April 25.
Feimster, a full-time writer and regular panelist on the late-night show “Chelsea Lately,” brings comedy with Southern charm. The comedian, who began her foray into standup by taking improv and sketch classes at the Groundlings Theatre, made her national television debut on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” where she was a semi-finalist.
Jay Leno hailed Cameron Esposito as “the future of comedy.” She’s toured nationally and appeared on “Late Night with Craig Ferguson,” “@midnight,” “CONAN,” and “Last Call with Carson Daly,” and is a regular on “Chelsea Lately.” Esposito was recently interviewed on NPR’s “All Things Considered,” where she discussed her new comedy album, “Same Sex Symbol.”
Tickets start at $45.55.
Tickets: Venetian and Palazzo Box Office, (702) 414-9000
