The Island View Inn in Rockport, Maine, has all ocean-view rooms with clean, cheerful nautical decor. Each room has a view of lovely Clam Cove in Penobscot Bay, its own private deck with table, chairs, a chaise longue and binoculars. The grounds are beautiful, with Adirondack chairs down by the cove so you can stare at the islands. Swim in the heated pool and listen to foghorns at night.
