John Wayne Airport: Disneyland shuttle stop moved over road work
If you’re looking for shuttles at John Wayne Airport (SNA) these days, you won’t find them in the usual places.
The Disneyland shuttle and a free parking lot shuttle have moved temporarily while the airport repaves the road at the Ground Transportation Center.
Changes that went into effect Tuesday:
--Disneyland Resort Express has been relocated north of Terminal A on the airport’s lower level. The stop will remain there through August. The daily shuttle operated by Southern California Gray Line charges $15 for adults and $12 for children for one-way fares from the airport to Disneyland.
--The free shuttle to the Main Street Parking Lot was moved south of the transportation center in front of Terminal B on the lower level. The stop will remain there through July.
Also on Tuesday, United Airlines ticketing and checked baggage service returned to Terminal B. The services had been moved during an eight-week upgrade to the baggage handling system.
The airport has had plenty of construction projects lately. In November, it added parking, new restaurants and Terminal C in the airport’s biggest upgrade since the 1990s. Now airport roads are in the middle of a seismic construction project that’s expected to last through December.
