Reader recommendation: Forty Putney Road B&B in Brattleboro, Vt.
Forty Putney Road Bed & Breakfast in Brattleboro, Vt., is one of the best B&Bs we have stayed in in 25 years. Innkeeper Amy Brady prepared a wonderful breakfast and was most helpful with a recommendation for a casual restaurant for dinner. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The hiking trail along the river behind the B&B gave us the chance to stretch our legs and exercise after driving all day.
