Your Scene: Eye-opening visit to the Galapagos
- Share via
After years of dreaming about the Galapagos Islands, Karol Pollack and her husband, John, visited the archipelago in May. They had read books and watched documentaries about the islands, but they were still awestruck.
“We did not truly grasp the islands’ significance, however, until we landed at our first destination where we saw mating blue-footed boobies, land iguanas [above], and red-throated frigate birds,” she said.
The Los Angeles resident used a Canon EOS Rebel T1i.
