Lake Tahoe: Free tram, high-elevation pool with Squaw Valley stay
Want to go swimming at 8,200 feet above sea level? Squaw Valley’s high-elevation pool and hot tub offer swim-time or soak-time with the stunning backdrop of Sierra peaks and Lake Tahoe. Book two nights at the Village at Squaw Valley and receive free access to the high-point facilities.
The deal: The deal applies to two-night stays at the Village at Squaw Valley at the foot of the ski area, which has a range of accommodations from standard rooms to three-bedroom condos. The offer includes two aerial tram tickets too, which means you can hike to Squaw Peak, do some photography or just relax at the pool. The pool with lap lanes, man-made waterfalls and the hot tub are part of the resort’s High Camp and open 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m. daily in summer.
When: The offer is good through Sept. 8, based on availability. Blackout dates apply.
Tested: I found a one-bedroom suite available Aug. 5-7 for $145 a night excluding tax. It comes with two free tickets, which usually cost $41 for each adult.
