A $25,000 hotel room in Paris -- and other dream suites in Europe
To poke at Shakespeare, this is the stuff travel dreams are made of. Here are the Robb Report’s picks for the 14 most lavish suites in Europe’s landmark city hotels.
The Robb Report‘s Elite Suites of Europe profiles each room with photos and little nuggets as to why these are the best of the best.
Take La Suite Shangri-La in the Shangri-La Hotel Paris, which opened in 2010 as a redo of a 19th century royal residence built by a great-nephew of Napoleon I. The Robb Report says the wow factor here is views of the Eiffel Tower from “every corner of the suite.†For that, you can expect to pay at least $25,000 a night.
How did Robb Report choose?
In an announcement Friday, the publication (which claims to be “the international authority on the luxury lifestyleâ€) says it worked with editors, writers and other experts to identify suites that offer “unparalleled privacy, perks and prestige.â€
The price-tags are as eye-popping as the fabulous luxury rooms.
