The Santa Fe Indian Market is the esteemed granddaddy of native art shows in America, drawing about 80,000 shoppers. But Indian art shows are held throughout the United States annually; here’s a quick rundown of the most prestigious.
Santa Fe Indian Market: Saturday and Sunday, drawing 1,100 artists to the New Mexico capital’s downtown Plaza. In 2008, the show will be held Aug. 23 and 24. Free.
