Reader recommendation: For a lovely intro to France, Lyon has it all
I stopped in Lyon earlier this month while on a ski trip to France. It’s a terrific city, with phenomenal food as well as great Roman ruins and museums. The old city is charming; it’s a good place to take teenagers as an introduction to France, Roman history, etc. Very walkable.
