Reader recommendation: Use Costco Travel to avoid the rental car fee for a second driver

On our recent trip to Maui, I learned something new: If you rent a car through Costco, the fee for a second driver is waived. Costco members receive one additional driver fee waived in the U.S. and Canada for Alamo or Enterprise, and in the U.S. for Avis or Budget.
