Asia: See the sights along the Mekong on a river cruise

Explore rural life along the Mekong River on three-to-seven-night sailings between Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, Cambodia, aboard the Aqua Mekong, a new river expedition boat.
The Red Savannah-coordinated tour offers shore excursions that include a private audience with Buddhist monks, a visit to the Silk Islands, bicycle rides along the river’s banks and a visit to the floating villages of Tonle Sap Lake, near Siem Reap.
The Aqua Mekong was launched in October and has 20 suites on two decks, with air conditioning, iPod docking stations, flat-screen TVs, balconies and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Dates: Twenty-two sailing dates from July through December.
Price: From $4,420 per person, double occupancy, for a four-night cruise. Includes meals and excursions. International airfare not included.
