Cambodia: Cuisine, writing, photography -- all in one tour
Food, writing, photography and culture come together in Backyard Travel’s eight-day tour of Cambodia, put together with travel and food writer Lara Dunston. Participants will visit some of the country’s landmark locations such as Angkor Wat, deconstruct Khmer cuisine and, with Dunston’s help, develop their culinary travel writing.
Also on the itinerary, visiting local markets for fresh produce, tasting local wine and sampling authentic foods from street vendors as well as top restaurants. Photographer Terence Carter accompanies the tour, offering tips on travel and food photography.
Date: May 22-30
Price: $1,998 per person, double occupancy. Includes accommodations, daily breakfast, five lunches, seven dinners, guided excursions and entrance fees. Limited to 12. International and domestic airfare not included.
