Fire contained near Roseville in Northern California; evacuations lifted
Firefighters battled back a brush fire Monday in Placer County that prompted evacuations.
The Foothills fire burned near Foothills Boulevard and Athens Avenue north of Roseville. The fire burned 355 acres before being contained. Evacuations ordered in an industrial area near Foothills Boulevard have been lifted.
