USC will play Wisconsin in the Holiday Bowl on Dec. 30 at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego.
The Trojans, under Coach Clay Helton, are 8-5 after losing to Stanford, 41-22, in the Pac-12 Conference championship game on Saturday night at Levi’s Stadium.
Wisconsin is 9-3 under first-year Coach Paul Chryst. The Badgers finished 6-2 in the Big Ten Conference.
The Trojans defeated Nebraska in the Holiday Bowl last season.
USC is 6-0 against Wisconsin. The Trojans have not played the Badgers since 1966.
“We are thrilled to be able to go back to the Holiday Bowl and play an outstanding Big Ten team like Wisconsin,” USC Coach Clay Helton said in a statement. “We will bring a motivated Trojan team that is anxious to finish the 2015 season on a high note, and they especially want to do so for our seniors and our fans.”
