UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen and USC linebacker Cameron Smith and cornerback Iman Marshall have been named to the USA Today freshman All-America football team.
Rosen completed 266 of 447 passes for 3,349 yards and 20 touchdowns with nine interceptions. He threw a UCLA-record 245 consecutive passes without an interception.
Rosen was also named Pac-12 Conference freshman offensive player of the year.
Smith was sidelined for USC’s final two games of the regular season and the Pac-12 championship game after he suffered a season-ending knee injury against Colorado.
Despite playing in only 10 games, Smith still led the Trojans with 78 tackles, including a sack.
Smith and Marshall each made three interceptions and Smith returned one for a touchdown.
Smith was also named Pac-12 freshman defensive player of the year.
Marshall broke up seven passes and deflected 10.
