USC has used eight of its 25 scholarships in the 2016 recruiting class.
Coach Steve Sarkisian announced Thursday that defensive back C.J. Pollard, linebacker Daelin Hayes and offensive lineman Nathan Smith have signed financial-aid agreements.
The agreement is binding for the university, but not for the recruits.
Five players on the roster — Clayton Johnston, Deontay Burnett, Taylor McNamara, Daniel Imatorbhebhe and Chris Tilbey — were awarded scholarships as blue-shirt recruits that count toward the 2016 class.
There are 13 other players in the 2016 class who have made verbal commitments to USC and can sign a letter of intent on Feb. 3.
Pollard, Hayes and Smith are on track to enroll at USC in January.
Pollard and Hayes said they would make their official visits to USC during the weekend of Nov. 28, when the Trojans play UCLA in the season finale.
Hayes, from Skyline High in Ann Arbor, Mich., said Thursday it was “doubtful” he would make any other official visits.
Pollard, the son of former Trojans defensive back Marvin Pollard, said his only official visit would be to USC.
