Jack Jones and Lamar Jackson watched Arizona State warm up from the sideline of Sun Devil Stadium on Saturday before the elite 2016 recruits saw the Trojans defeat the Sun Devils, 42-14.
Arizona State hosted Jones, a cornerback from Long Beach Poly High, and Jackson, a safety from Franklin High in Northern California, on official visits for the weekend.
USC also is recruiting Jones and Jackson.
“The visit was fun, I had a good time,” Jackson said Monday, adding that USC “played great as expected with the playmakers they got.”
Jackson said he would also make official visits to Michigan, Oregon and USC. He had scheduled a visit to Oklahoma on Oct. 9 but said he would not make the trip because of a conflict.
Jones tweeted Sunday: “On the way back from a GREAT visit at ASU seen everything I wanted to see.”
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Jones reportedly will make an official visit to Michigan but has not announced other trips.
Gardena Serra’s C.J. Pollard is the lone defensive back committed to USC’s 2016 class.
