USC recruiting: Quarterback Matt Fink commits to Trojans
Glendora High quarterback Matt Fink committed to USC on Monday.
“I want to thank every coach that has put the time and effort into recruiting me. I truly think that I have now found the right school for me. I am now announcing that I have committed to the University of Southern California! #FightOn,” Fink wrote on Twitter.
The 6-foot-3, 185-pound quarterback passed for 1,386 yards and 10 touchdowns, with three interceptions, last season.
USC also offered quarterbacks Malik Henry, Shea Patterson and K.J. Costello, but Henry committed to Florida State, Patterson picked Mississippi and Costello chose Stanford.
Fink is the eighth player to commit to USC’s 2016 recruiting class and likely will be the only quarterback.
