USC recruiting: Quarterback Matt Fink receives offer
Two days after K.J. Costello committed to Stanford, USC was back to its search for a 2016 quarterback.
Matt Fink, from Glendora High, received on offer on Saturday.
“Couldn’t be more excited to say that I have received an offer from the University of Southern California! #FightOn,†Fink wrote on Twitter after he attended spring practice.
Fink, 6 feet 3 and 185 pounds, is the fourth quarterback who USC has offered after three others committed elsewhere.
Malik Henry, who transferred to IMG Academy from Westlake High, committed to Florida State. Shea Patterson, from Shreveport, La., committed to Ole Miss and Costello to Stanford.
Fink passed for 1,386 yards and 10 touchdowns, with three interceptions, his junior season. He rushed for 725 yards and 10 touchdowns in 75 carries.
Fink has tweeted that he has gotten several offers, including from Notre Dame, Utah and Washington.
