USC center Max Tuerk was named to the watch list for the Lombardi Award, presented annually to college football’s top interior player.
The 6-foot-6, 285-pound Tuerk last week was named to the watch list for the Rimington Trophy (top center) and the Outland Trophy (top lineman).
Tuerk, a senior, moved to center in 2014 after starting at tackle and guard his first two seasons. He was All-Pac-12 Conference last season.
He is the most experienced player on a young offensive line that returns every starter.
USC opens training camp Aug. 8.
The Trojans play Arkansas State on Sept. 5.
