Amari Rodgers, son of USC assistant Tee Martin, commits to Trojans
Receiver Amari Rodgers, the son of USC receivers coach Tee Martin, announced his commitment to USC on Thursday.
“Proud to say that I am a Trojan! #FightOn,” Rodgers wrote in an Instagram post, accompanied by a photo with Martin.
Martin posted, “Congrats to @ajrodgers_3 for his commitment to #USC. Welcome to the #TrojanFamily again! #ProudFatherMoment #FightOn.”
Rodgers, 5 feet 10 and 185 pounds, made an unofficial visit to campus for USC’s Rising Stars camp on Wednesday and Thursday. He caught several passes during the first-day morning session.
USC offered Rodgers in March.
A 2017 recruit, Rodgers will be a junior at Knoxville Catholic High in Knoxville, Tenn., in the fall. He can sign a letter of intent with USC in February, 2017.
Fontana Summit running back Stephen Carr has also committed to USC’s 2017 recruiting class.
