Toleafoa Auwae from Kapolei, Hawaii became the first offensive lineman to commit to UCLA’s 2016 recruiting class Friday.
“I’d like to thank my family, especially my coaches, and I’ve decided to go to UCLA,” Auwae said in a video posted to Twitter.
Auwae, 6-foot-3 and 295 pounds, is the second lineman from Hawaii to commit to the Bruins in the last two years. Bruins freshman Fred Ulu-Perry also is from Hawaii.
Auwae made an unofficial visit to UCLA last spring.
