‘Key & Peele’ sketch pits Seahawks’ Lynch, Sherman against the media
If Marshawn Lynch and Richard Sherman gave a joint news conference about who they felt was snubbed for this year’s Academy Award nominations, it would probably go like this.
Comedians Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, stars of their own Comedy Central series “Key & Peele,†pretended to be the two notable Seattle Seahawks players.
Sherman is known for talking a lot while Lynch is known for not talking at all.
The result is a hilarious sketch where the two nail the primary characteristics of the football duo.
For the most part, Sherman, played by Key, yells to the media about Oscar nominations while Lynch, played by Peele, mumbles the phrase “biscuits and gravy.â€
