So we know that Minnesota running back Adrian Peterson is unhappy that star receiver Percy Harvin was traded Monday from the Vikings to the Seattle Seahawks. We can assume that a lot of fans are unhappy to lose a Pro Bowl player who led the team in receiving yards the last three seasons.

But we also can figure that Harvin himself is happy with the move, since he’s been demanding a trade for some time now, and that some fans might be relieved to have such a malcontent out of the locker room.

No word on exactly how quarterback Christian Ponder feels about losing his favorite target, one who caught 62 passes for 677 yards and three touchdowns in just nine games last season.

But sources have said that Harvin had plenty to say about Ponder’s abilities, and not much of it was kind. According to Yahoo! Sports, all that complaining about the guy they still consider their franchise quarterback may have been what finally led the Vikings to give in to the receiver’s trade demands.

After news of the Harvin trade came out Monday, Peterson took to Twitter to express his displeasure: “The best all around player I ever seen or you’ll ever see! Goes to Seattle! I feel like I just got kicked in the stomach. Several times!!!â€

The reigning league MVP added: “I wish my boy Percy nothing but success! God bless you homie.â€

Now let’s take a look at Ponder’s Twitter account. His only tweet since Monday is some sort of inside joke involving cheese (really), shared with his wife, ESPN reporter Samantha Steele, and another beautiful sports/celebrity couple -- tennis star Andy Roddick and model/actress Brooklyn Decker.

Well, maybe we do know how Ponder feels about the Harvin trade.
