Longhorns misspell Texas throughout their own media guide
- Share via
Someone at the University of Texas is probably in a bit of trouble today. The Longhorns released their online football media guide on Thursday, and it was a beautifully crafted, novel-length piece of online literature. Bios of each player were included, with a link to where to find more: www.texsasports.com.
Now, you would think that all of the words that could be misspelled in the Texas media guide, Texas would be about the last you would predict. But no.
Just think how this ruins a great song. “All My Exes Live in Texsa” just does not have the same ring to it.
The online media guide was pulled down, then returned with the proper spelling of Texas. But not before an enterprising Oklahoma Sooners fan noticed and bought the domain name www.texsasports.com. If you go there, you will see a nice message for the Longhorns.
