LeBron James may not be having quite the season anyone expected upon his return to Cleveland, but apparently lots of Cavaliers fans still found his jersey under their Christmas trees -- more than any other fans of any other player on any other team.

James’ No. 23 jersey was the NBA’s top-seller from October-December 2014, based on overall sales from Adidas and NBAStore.com. He has now topped the list five straight times, dating well back into his days with the Miami Heat.

It all makes sense. James and the Heat were a dominant force, and James and the Cavs ... well, OK, there’s work to be done. But there’s also plenty of Cleveland fans out there with plenty of burned jerseys to replace from their idol’s first stint with the team.

Lakers’ superstar Kobe Bryant was No. 4 on the list. You’d think every Lakers fan would already have his No. 24 attire, but then again who else’s jersey would the Purple and Gold faithful have on their Christmas wish-lists (no, Swaggy P did not rank in the top-15 bestsellers).

Here’s one that does make sense -- Golden State’s Stephen Curry, enjoying a breakout season, vaults from No. 7 to No. 2. The top five is rounded out by Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant at No. 3 and Chicago’s Derrick Rose at No. 5.

The Clippers’ Blake Griffin and Chris Paul came in at Nos. 10 and 13, respectively.
