All the buzz about Carmelo Anthony possibly joining the Miami Heat and creating a Big Four apparently hasn’t reached the Heat locker room.

“Uh, so what happened?†Miami’s LeBron James said before Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Thursday at AmericanAirlines Arena when asked about all the attention the Anthony situation was generating via an ESPN report.

Informed there was widespread speculation that Anthony would take his talents to South Beach starting next season, James said, “OK. When did this happen?â€

Anthony joining Miami would require him to opt out of his final season with the New York Knicks as well as James and teammates Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh opting out of their final seasons and taking considerable pay cuts. Anthony would also have to take less money than he would make by returning to the Knicks or signing with another team.

James didn’t seem perturbed when asked if the chatter bothered him in the middle of the Finals.

“It bothers me?†James asked. “No, I’m just not hearing about it, so it doesn’t bother me at all. Obviously, ‘Melo has his own decision to make and obviously I have [mine] and that’s not even crossed my mind at this point in the season, so I really just don’t have an answer for you.â€

James has bigger worries, with the Heat needing to beat the San Antonio Spurs to even the Finals at two games apiece and avoid returning to San Antonio facing possible elimination in Game 5.
