Johnny Manziel is annoyed with all the negative attention he’s receiving for his hard-partying lifestyle.

But that doesn’t mean he’s going to be changing any time soon.

“I’m not going to change for anybody,’’ the Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback told reporters at a Play 60 youth clinic that featured appearances by NFL rookies. “I’m going to enjoy my time off.’’

Manziel definitely has been doing that. Ever since last month’s draft the former Heisman Trophy winner at Texas A&M has been partying all over the country with the likes of hip-hop star Drake, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and, of course, an inflatable swan.

A video from one of those parties appeared on Instagram recently, with Johnny Football talking into a stack of money as if it was a phone. When asked about the clip Friday, Manziel said, ‘’I’m not going to address something that’s in the past.’’

Ah, OK. Forget we ever mentioned the Heisman Trophy then.

Manziel stressed that he’s working hard on football when he’s supposed to and that the mounting criticism from the likes of football legends such as Joe Montana, Emmitt Smith and Warren Moon is off base.

“I don’t think I’m doing anything wrong,†Manziel said.

Sure, nothing illegal. Nothing many other 21-year-olds aren’t doing or wouldn’t be doing if they had the chance.

But, is Browns incumbent starting quarterback Brian Hoyer -- a.k.a. the guy Manziel’s competing with for a job -- out there taking part in crazy antics every weekend?

Just curious.
