IndyCar Series drivers are scheduled to hold a day-long test session next Monday at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana that’s free to the public, the track said Tuesday.

The testing session, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., is to prepare the teams for the MAVTV 500 at the two-mile oval speedway on Aug. 30, the season finale for the series.

Drivers tentatively scheduled to take part include reigning IndyCar champion Scott Dixon, three-time Indianapolis 500 winner Helio Castroneves, former Indy 500 winner Juan Pablo Montoya and last year’s Indy 500 winner, Tony Kanaan.
