International stars Lionel Messi and Neymar will not be on the field for Barcelona when it takes on the Galaxy at 8 p.m. Tuesday night at the Rose Bowl. Neither will three other Barca starters.

But that likely won’t matter for the 85,000-plus spectators on hand for a friendly that will feature such Barcelona players as Luis Suarez and Andres Iniesta against a Galaxy lineup that includes Robbie Keane and Steven Gerrard.

Many of those fans will have been on site for a long time by the time kickoff occurs, with the parking lot opening at 2 p.m. and the stadium at 6 p.m. A fan fest starting at 2 p.m. offers extra incentive to arrive early.

The game is a sellout, although secondary selling sites appear to have a few seats available. StubHub has tickets starting at $85 while Barry’s Tickets lists them at $143 and up.

Another option is watching the game at home on Fox Sports 1 and ESPN Deportes.
