Clippers excited to play Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors
The Clippers will face two of the NBA’s top scoring teams this week, and that probably will get their juices flowing.
The Clippers face the Phoenix Suns on Monday night at Staples Center. Phoenix averages 105.5 points per game, the sixth-best in the NBA. The Clippers just defeated the Suns last week in Phoenix.
The Clippers face the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night at Staples Center. Golden State averages 103.5 points per game, the 10th-best in the NBA.
The Clippers and Warriors don’t like each other, either, making for a contentious basketball game.
The Clippers currently trail in the four-game series, 2-1. But it’s not as if the Clippers can’t score the basketball too.
After all, the Clippers lead the league in scoring, averaging 107.8 points per game.
“There are games where guys get excited for,†Clippers Coach Doc Rivers said. “And there are games they come out and play. You’re playing Phoenix and Golden State, I’m sure they’ll be excited. We’ll be excited.â€
