Clippers to host free open scrimmage for fans at Galen Center

The Clippers will host a free open scrimmage for fans at the Galen Center on USC’s campus on Oct. 8. The doors open to fans at 4 p.m. as the Clippers practice, then the scrimmage begins at 5 p.m.
The event will also feature performances by Clippers Spirit.
Besides being a cool opportunity to see Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan play at no cost, you never know what can happen at these scrimmages.
Two seasons ago, Griffin, messing around, made a spectacular shot from behind the half-court line on his first attempt, to the delight of the fans.
