Chyna should be in the WWE Hall of Fame, because Stone Cold Steve Austin said so

Stone Cold Steve Austin, considered by many to be the biggest star in WWE history, said that former WWE star Chyna, who died last week at the age of 46, should be in the WWE Hall of Fame and that it is a shame WWE didn’t put her in before she died.

Speaking on his podcast, “The Steve Austin Show,†he said:

“I know Chyna had her issues after she left the WWE. But, man, she had made a comeback from that. And I thought she earned the right to be in the Hall of Fame. And to put her in there posthumously it’s just not good enough. I don’t know how to rectify that, how you deal with that, because things are just screwed up. Man, her going into the Hall of Fame is just so small in comparison to the fact that this young lady is no longer with us. I don’t know what to make of it.â€

Austin also said, “I don’t think it’ll ever be right, because she didn’t go into the Hall of Fame while she was alive, living and breathing with us.â€

Chyna left WWE in 2001, but she was one of the keys to the resurgence of WWE in the late 1990s as a member of “D-Generation X,†becoming a multiple-time women’s champion and the first (and still only) woman to win the Intercontinental championship.

After leaving WWE, Chyna appeared in porn films and struggled with substance abuse. She also appeared on “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.â€
