The “Pokemon Go†fever has taken over the U.S. and parts of the world. Now the mayor of Rio de Janeiro wants some of it.

“Pokemon Go†has been in the U.S. for only a little over a week, and it has become one of the most popular mobile games in history. It’s even surpassed Twitter for daily active users.

Although the game is not available in every country, Rio Mayor Eduardo Paes said he hopes the popular app makes its way to Brazil before the start of the Olympics.

Paes made his message clear to Nintendo with a Facebook post that shows a photo collage of Pokemon roaming around parts of Brazil.

“Hello, Nintendo! 23 days to go to the 2016 Rio Olympics. The whole world is coming here. Come too! ‪#‎Cidadeolímpica ‪#‎rio2016 #‎pokemongonobrasil,†the post translates.

The app launched in Germany and the U.K. on Wednesday, so who knows whether Pokemon fever will make its way to Rio before the start of the Games. But if it does, is it too late to consider it for Olympic competition?
