Curt Schilling says he’ll run for president in eight years
Curt Schilling seems to have lofty goals following his careers in baseball and broadcasting.
The three-time World Series-winning pitcher recently revealed some pretty serious political plans in perhaps the most casual manner possible — in the comment section of one of his own Facebook posts complaining about the Democratic Party.
The outspoken conservative former pitcher, who was fired from his commentating gig with ESPN in April after reposting a meme widely interpreted as anti-transgender, was told Sunday by a fellow commentator that he should consider running for office.

“I am going to run, soon,†Schilling wrote back.
When asked for details, Schilling replied, “state office first, white house in 8 years :)â€
And then he added: “or 4 if by some amazing illegal event this country elects another clinton.â€
Back in March, Schilling stated during a radio interview that Hillary Clinton "should be buried under a jail somewhere" after being accused of handling some classified State Department emails on a private server.
