Fatuma Sado won the women’s division of the 27th annual L.A. Marathon, with a finishing time of 2 hours, 25 minutes and 39 seconds. Beacuse she was the first to cross the finish line overall, Sado won a $100,000 gender challenge bonus, in addition to $25,000 and a Honda CRV for being the first woman to finish the marathon.
