Up next for Galaxy: at Orlando City, Sunday afternoon
When: 2 p.m. PDT.
Where: Orlando Citrus Bowl.
On the air: TV: ESPN2, ESPN Deportes; Radio: 980, 1330.
Records: Galaxy 3-3-5, Orlando City 2-5-3.
Record vs. Orlando City: First meeting.
Update: The most likely result in this one might be a draw since expansion Orlando City has yet to win at home and is winless in four games overall and the reigning league champion Galaxy hasn’t won on the road since August and hasn’t won anywhere in a month. Orlando City, which is averaging nearly 37,000 spectators per game, has a lineup that includes Kaka, a former world player of the year, and Brek Shea, a U.S. national team player. For the hobbled Galaxy, though, another tie would probably feel like a win since the team will be without forwards Robbie Keane (groin) and Edson Buddle (calf), and defenders Todd Dunivant (knee) and Dan Gargan (yellow card accumulation). The availability of defender Robbie Rogers and midfielder Jose Villarreal is uncertain. Rogers did not practice last week because of an Achilles’ tendon injury, and Villarreal has played only seven minutes in the last six weeks because of a hamstring injury.
