Cowboys DE Mincey will be out against Falcons

The Cowboys will enter Sunday’s game without the top three right defensive ends on their depth chart.
The club knew it would be without veteran Greg Hardy (suspension) and rookie Randy Gregory (ankle) against Atlanta. What the coaching staff didn’t know was it would also have to go without Jeremy Mincey, who has been ruled out with a concussion.
When Mincey suffered the concussion is unclear. He wasn’t listed on the injury report to begin the week and took part in Wednesday’s practice. Afterwards, Mincey told the training staff for the first time he didn’t feel good.
Mincey was limited in practice Thursday. The cause given was an illness. He appeared on the injury report for the first time with a concussion on Friday.
Mincey is the second defensive lineman to go down this week. Defensive tackle Terrell McClain was lost for the season earlier this week with a sprained big toe.
Veteran Jack Crawford is the most likely candidate to start at defensive end in Mincey’s absence.
