Michigan State’s Conklin does not have season-ending injury

EAST LANSING, Mich. _ There’s no word on when Michigan State standout left tackle Jack Conklin will play again, but coach Mark Dantonio said Tuesday that he’s expected to return this season.tmpplchld Conklin went down with a left knee injury in Saturday’s 30-10 win over Central Michigan and watched the second half in a knee brace. Asked whether there are any new season-ending injuries to report, Dantonio said there are none “other than the two we’ve talked about.”tmpplchld Those two are linebacker Ed Davis (knee) and cornerback Vayante Copeland (fractured vertebra).
