WHO NEEDS TO DELIVER...

Quarterback Case Keenum. He says he likes touchdowns but loves winning. That is admirable, but if the Rams do not score a touchdown in a third consecutive game, the pressure to replace Keenum with Jared Goff with ratchet up even more.

Running back Todd Gurley. The 2015 NFL offensive rookie of the year has gained 100 yards or more only once in his last 10 games. It might be the offensive line. It is almost surely defensive schemes designed to stop him. Doesn’t matter. Rams need Gurley to come through.

Cornerback Troy Hill. Jameis Winston watched Seattle’s Russell Wilson go after Hill last week and the Tampa Bay quarterback will no doubt do the same. Hill anticipates as much and says he does not want to be a weak link in the defense. Winston’s relentless desire to make plays could afford Hill opportunities for interceptions.

Receiver Mike Evans. The former Texas A&M star, the seventh pick in the 2014 draft, is difficult to handle at 6 feet 5 inches and 231 pounds. He scored a touchdown in each of the first two games. Evans caught nine passes for 157 yards against the Rams last season.

Quarterback Jameis Winston. The No. 1 pick in the 2015 NFL draft is coming off a four-interception game against the Arizona Cardinals. Winston had four passes intercepted in a game last season and came back the next week to lead the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to victory.

Linebacker Kwon Alexander. He leads the NFL with 21 solo tackles, playing in a system under new defensive coordinator Mike Smith. The Buccaneers, like the 49ers and Seahawks, will no doubt load the box to neutralize Todd Gurley and dare Case Keenum to beat them through the air. Alexander will be in the middle of it.
