Nneka Ogwumike had 20 points and 11 rebounds, Candace Parker added 11 points, seven rebounds and nine assists, and the Sparks beat the Chicago Sky, 77-67, on Wednesday.

Ogwumike was 10 of 11 from the field in her fifth consecutive game with at least 20 points. She also had four blocks as the Sparks tied a season high with eight.

Kristi Toliver had 13 points, Jantel Lavender added 12 and Essence Carson scored 10 for the Sparks, (19-1), who had 28 assists on 33 field goals.

The Sparks led 68-53 until Allie Quigley’s three-pointer started a 13-4 Chicago run to pull the Sky to within 72-66 with 2 minutes 17 seconds left. But the Sky missed shots on their next two possessions and Toliver made two free throws with 51 seconds left for an eight-point Sparks lead.

Elena Delle Donne scored 15 points and Quigley added 13 for Chicago (8-12). Cheyenne Parker scored 10.
