The league’s leading shot blocker was coming at him, and even that wasn’t enough to bother Stephen Curry.

The MVP connected on the go-ahead three-pointer over the outstretched arm of Miami center Hassan Whiteside with 38 seconds left, and the visiting Golden State Warriors defeated the Heat, 118-112, on Wednesday night in a game that featured 13 lead changes in the fourth quarter.

Curry finished with 42 points, and Klay Thompson scored 15 consecutive points for Golden State in the fourth quarter on his way to a 33-point night. The Warriors (51-5) are 9-0 when Curry scores 40 points or more.

Dwyane Wade had a season-high 32 points and seven assists for the Heat, which led by 12 early and went up 108-107 when Wade made a pair of free throws with 56.5 seconds left.

at Cleveland 114, Charlotte 103: LeBron James and Kyrie Irving scored 23 points each and the Cavaliers bounced back from a home loss Monday to Detroit in which James tied a season low with 12 points.

at Indiana 108, New York 105: Paul George scored 25 of his 27 points in the second half to lead the Pacers. Kristaps Porzingis missed a three-point shot that would have given the Knicks the lead with 1.9 seconds remaining and Carmelo Anthony missed a three-point attempt for the tie at the buzzer.

at Toronto 114, Minnesota 105: DeMar DeRozan scored 31 points and Kyle Lowry added 21 as the Raptors tied a franchise record with their ninth consecutive home victory.

at Chicago 109, Washington 104: Three of the Bulls’ top four scorers missed the game and the fourth, Pau Gasol, missed practice Tuesday and was playing with flu. But Gasol narrowly missed a triple-double (15 rebounds, 10 points and nine assists).

Oklahoma City 116, at Dallas 103: Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook each scored 24 points and Westbrook had 13 assists as the Thunder weathered a 33-point effort by the Mavericks’ Dirk Nowitzki.

at Detroit 111, Philadelphia 91: The Pistons took a 16-point lead in the first quarter and cruised in front of a tiny crowd because of a snowstorm in metro Detroit. The 76ers (8-49) have lost six in a row.

San Antonio 108, at Sacramento 92: Tony Parker scored 23 points as the Spurs improved to 48-9.
